making my way down state

dress: element eden

HEY GUYS.

It's literally been years. Well, I mean, a week and a half, but it's basically the same thing. How is everyone doing? Did we all survive finals? If you haven't taken them yet - I'm praying for you. My life went from 0-100 faster than Drake hopped from that wheelchair to the Billboard 100. (Yes, I am proud of that one.)

I have so much happening that a bunch of other things aren't, like, you know, blog posts. I know I could schedule them, but that's just so...stale. You don't get the ~vibes of the moment~, you feel?  Plus, the stuff that's happening is REALLY COOL AWESOME STUFF, so it'll pay off eventually for all of us. I promise. I can't tell you about most of it (yet), but here's one:

I'M GOING TO VISIT LOS ANG- I MEAN, SALLIE. I AM GOING TO VISIT SALLIE. WHO HAPPENS TO BE IN LA. WHAT A COINCIDENCE.

I'm just kidding. (A little.)

But yes, I am going to visit my best friend in the City of the Juice Obsessed Soulcyclers next week, and I'm extremely excited. Expect lots of photos of palm trees, and a 200+ second long snapchat story. No ragrets.

x J

ps. you can't see my 200+ second long snapchat story if you don't add me on snapchat: justinasharp (if you aren't already following me on insta there's really no helping you)

cardiGAINZ

dress : black swan
cardigan: c.o living doll la
shoes: moheda toffeln
backpack : c.o sunny dushanka
tattoo: tattly

EVERYONE RELAX IT'S NOT A REAL TATTOO.

I am not nearly decisive enough for a real tattoo. I'd be done with it in about ten minutes and by then it's too late. Amen for Tattly.

IT'S STILL COLD. IT. IS. STILL. COLD. I honestly am so confused and not entirely sure how to act, so I've adopted that well known British adage: "Keep calm and carry on wearing your summer dresses as though all is normal." Of course, due to the fact that it is freezing, I have had to adapt, but that's what cardigans are for.

School is almost over. I'm a little bummed out about it, because I actually truly and honestly enjoy it. Alas, it is time to move on to other adventures far, far, far away from a classroom. (How was that for a suspense set-up?) As the classes wind down, so does my will to carry my schoolbooks, so I've just ditched them entirely and kept the backpack. It's worked out much better for my back.

How's everyone's life? Are we making it through finals okay? Are you pumped for the last day of school/graduation/whatever is happening for you right now? Are you snacking regularly?  No matter what's going on, just remember:

the summer is full of glorious sleep.

ps. idk I thought it was funny because I'm allergic to gyms and it was an easy pun and I'm sorry

a sweater in the summer

sweater: american eagle
jeans: levis
sandals: c.o. moheda toffeln

Do you know what happened today? It was scarring, emotionally off-putting, and quite frankly, shocking.

 It. was. cold.

It was 55 degrees when I woke up. It doesn't even get that cold in the ACTUAL winter, let alone MAY. I was rather unsure of how to deal with it and so stayed in bed for an extra hour. Once I decided to get up, this is the outfit I decided on. The ripped boyfriend jeans were in defiance to the weather, because it is meant to be summer, and Mother Nature needs to get her life together. The sweater was because there was a breeze straight off the Arctic.

My fave youngin's, Maia + Aiden, came to visit me from Bermuda and brought me this rad piece of blingy-ness. I'm not entirely sure what it is, but I like it. I also really, really, really like this bun. It is a bun of art. I'm not clear on how I did it, and will never be able to recreate it, so lets just enjoy it now. That sunbeam certainly was. If you're curious: I am not intentionally rocking the Kylie-Jenner-pre-temporary-lip-fillers look, but I am rocking it all the same.

IT'S ALMOST THE END OF THE SEMESTER.

There is nothing better than that statement so lets just end it here.

x J

take it into the dark

All praise the $4 sale rack at H&M.

I fought this crazy woman off at 10pm in Times Square for this dress and I regret nothing. It's so light and swingy, and y'all KNOW how I feel about light swingy dresses. The warmer it gets, the less (time I want to spend on) clothing I feel like dealing with. Things I DO feel like dealing with include:

* You
* Being in TEEN VOGUE. That's right - THAT'S what I was doing in New York. And y'all though I couldn't keep a secret. Go get an issue - flip past all the interesting people until you see ME.
* Wearing the same dress for five days in the name of SCIENCE. And Seventeen Magazine.
* This 100% I just got on a group project at school
* Still you.

I have two WEEKS left at school, which is crazy. I don't feel old enough to have been in college a year. I mean, technically I'm not, but...oh god, let's spare ourselves the headache. How's life? Everyone ready for summer? Remember: you don't need to worry about a beach body, you need to worry about snacks that will still taste good with sand in them.

California cooking 101.

x J

ps. may the forth be with you. *wink wink*
